Campers will visit local Fire/EMS and Law Enforcement organizations, observe day-to-day operations, and learn about careers and training. Throughout the week, campers will gain CPR training and understand the requirements and dedication it takes to be a first responder from professional instructors. Rising 6th-Rising 8th Graders | Students will learn about boating safety and be introduced to a variety of career opportunities in the marine trades industry. Trips are planned to the US Coast Guard Station at Fort Macon, the NC Maritime Museum in Beaufort, the NC Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores, and a ride on the ferry to Cape Lookout National Seashore. Campers should bring a refillable water bottle and a lunch Monday-Wednesday. A pizza party will be provided on Thursday! Captains Camp runs from 9:00AM - 2:00PM
